Five for Friday FINALLY!

I thought this week would never end!
EVER!
It  has been CRAZY BUSY and I have never been happier to celebrate Friday!
Thank you Doodle Bugs Teaching for bringing joy to my week!

My students earned this as a reward for a fundraising event earlier in the school year. So many things make me happy in this picture!
It's finally time to have some fun with my kiddos.
I am down to ONE crutch and I have a fancy new knee brace!
Only 4 days of school left!

Since I have been on crutches for the past month, the principal felt bad for me and gave me a high school helper. Sweet Courtney had no idea what she was in for. Those young lungs blew up 26 beach balls for my end of year student gifts!
Student gifts-check!

My hubby was feeling overwhelmed with work, so my teacher instinct kicked in and I thought about how I could cheer him up. Paper chain to the rescue, duh! Now he has this fab countdown to our amazing vacation around the world! #14daysandcounting

I have been thinking of ways to motivate the upcoming class of 2nd graders over the summer to continue reading. I came up with "Books for Scoops". Students who read and log 100 books this summer will be invited to a grade level ice cream party to celebrate! I am hoping this will combat the summer slide!
Guess what?!
It's a freebie in my TPT store, get it here!
It's not grade specific, so download away friends!

Last but not least, I was honored to participate in throwing Kristin at School and the City, my teammate and friend, her first bridal shower!
It was so fun to plan and prepare to shower Kristin with our love.
It was bitter-sweet, since she will be joining her lovebug in Atlanta this summer.
We are sad to loose her, but wish her the best!
How cute are these "diamond rings"?!?!

Have a great week!
